The e-Administration (eAdmin) chapter in Morfeo aims to define standard software applications and platform for the Public Administration.  Morfeo brings an important base of companies, including global companies, SMEs and representatives of local development.  This helps administrations which join the initiative to obtain the following advantages:

• Increase of the base of companies backing the technology. This fosters the lowering of costs and a better protection of the investment due to diversification in the base of potential suppliers.
• Increase of the customer base, as a result of extending the use of technology in other administrations, other sectors and other countries. This also favors cutting costs and gainning a better protection of investment, due to the fact that economies of scale can be exploited.
• Increase of R & D activities necessary to develop and evolve the technology, as the result of sharing with other players (companies, universities, technology centers) the necessary investment.
